Unlike most food processors, the Ninja has two blades that stack on top of each other. It is extremely efficient, but takes some getting used to! The key is to pulse the blades. For my guacamole, I did not bother to chop anything. I simply cut the ingredients into large chunks (to fit into the bowl) and let the Ninja do the work. In seconds, I had smooth and creamy guacamole. I still need to get a good feel for how much to pulse/process. I am a chunky person, so my guacamole was a bit over-processed for my taste, but my hubby really liked it. Once I was done, the bowl and blades were fairly easy to clean, too.

Overall Impression
Ninja Master Prep has an edge over other choppers and blenders – the pitcher and bowl each have a double bladed assembly that chops and blends some foods and liquids more efficiently. They share a powerful power head that attaches very easily.

When it comes to blending just a pitcher full of ice with no liquid, yes it does make snow, but I found it tedious and it usually required more than one try. On the other hand, blending drinks with both ice and liquid were the easiest, creamiest and best.

I do love the pitcher for iced coffee, but my favorite part is the Mini Master Prep chopper – it’s fast, efficient and chops without producing extra liquids. And the bowl size is just right for regular chopping/mincing tasks like onions, peppers, celery, tomatoes or nuts. It has lots of power to cut cleanly, especially noticeable with celery.

I’d recommend the Ninja more for chopping/mincing than for blending, but that being said, it does blend a super creamy iced coffee.

Agoosa is a blog designed to help you out of tight spots in the kitchen, in the home and with the family. It is a blog with home remedies, household tips, children’s crafts and more.

To sum up their review:

This weekend I’ve already prepared iced coffee, chopped vegetables for a casserole, made salsa and blended two fruit smoothies. All of these were easy to make and blended or chopped perfectly. The blades are sharp and the motor is powerful.

Finally, a note to those with gastroparesis like me. Many of us rely on blenders to make smoothies and slushies that are easy for us to digest. The Ninja Master Prep will not only chop down your food into any size you choose, but will also blend a perfect smoothie. This chopper and blender is an excellent tool for the “GP” kitchen!

It’s hard to find flaws in a product with a simple, user-friendly design that not only works well, but helps to bring new life to a sometimes-dull kitchen. In my kitchen the Ninja has been a nonstop drink-testing machine – first with the mojito (fresh mint from the garden) and second with a daiquiri – that has helped to bring a few hours of creativity

Overall:

We can’t say enough about the new Ninja Master Prep. So far we’ve only used it for drinks and deserts, but with outstanding results. The Master Ninja Prep is a welcome tool for many chefs making life easier and dare I say even with, “less tears”. I am looking forward to using it to chop onions, since I cry like a baby when I cut into one. Back to this wonderful tool. The first thing I did with my two young girls was make soft snow and pour a syrup mix that we made of kool aid and sugar. The girls loved their snow cones and mom couldn’t resist, either.
